WGA Announces Best Screenplay nominations, nods BLACK SWAN, social network and START

The Writers Guild of America announced its nominations for the best scripts of 2010. Usually a reliable indicator for Oscar gold, the winner of WGA has gone on to win the Oscar in the same category as 11 of the last 16 years.A couple of pleasant surprise nominations Please give and I Love You Philip Morris shake what mostly a list of more of the same. Most of the usual suspects was nominated, including network and Black Swan. Favorite Oscar Reyes’s speech did not meet the eligibility requirements to be considered, and was therefore disqualified (as well as a number of other scripts high level).
Do not let the lack of a name Reyes speaks silly, such as film and Social Network has been gathering awards for best original screenplay and adapted, respectively, during the last month.
