Notably absent from his selection is bone of winter. The Producers Guild of America announced the nominees for the 2011 Producers Guild. With the exception of the City, I think you’re looking at the ten candidates for the Oscar for Best Picture (I think winter Bone ultimately catch slot 10 th).The nominees for best picture is 127 hours, Black Swan, Concepci?n, The Fighter, The kids are alright, the speech of the King, The Social Web, Toy Story 3, The City, and True Grit.

Producer Judd Apatow to Host the 22nd Annual Awards Ceremony PRODUCERS GUILD
The three categories Producers Guild Awards for the film include: The award Darryl F. Zanuck for Best Theatrical Motion Pictures Production, The Production Award for Best Animated Theatrical Motion pictures and the award for Best Producer of Motion Pictures theatrical documentary. The five categories of television credits include: Danny Thomas Award for best episodic television producer, Comedy, Norman Felton Award for Best Producer of episodic television, Drama, The David L. Wolper Award for Best TV Producer of long duration; The Best Producer Award for nonfiction TV, and the Award for Best Film and Television Producer Live Competition.LOS ANGELES (January 4, 2010) – The Producers Guild of America (PGA) today announced nominations television picture and the movement for the 2011 Guild Awards producers.
Winners in each category will be announced at the ceremony of the Producers Guild Awards on Saturday, January 22 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. In addition, the Guild will pay tribute to several special individual awards at the 22nd annual ceremony producers Guild Awards, including: James Cameron (Milestone Award), Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman (Norman Lear Achievement Award in television), Scott Rudin (David O. Selznick Achievement Award in films), Laura Ziskin (Visionary Award) and RealD (Vanguard Award).
Critically acclaimed for its comedy television companies, along with a huge list of credits success of the film, Apatow has produced such films as: The 40 year old virgin, Knocked Up, Funny People, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy , Superbad, Pineapple Express, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, get him to the Greek, The Cable Guy, and television series “Freaks and Geeks,” “Undeclared,” “The Larry Sanders Show” and “The Ben Stiller Show,” among others. The award-winning producer, director and writer Judd Apatow will host the 22 th annual ceremony producers Guild Awards. Besides a long list of ongoing development projects in production Apatow Productions company, Apatow will next team with “Freaks and Geeks” collaborator Paul Feig bridesmaid, which Feig directed (due out in May 2011), followed David Wain Wanderlust (to be released in October 2011.)
